Our Approach

Respectful Facilitation

The Montessori guide is respectful of the child and observes closely to stay attuned to the child’s needs. Activities are thoughtfully presented to nurture joy and a love for learning.

Caregiver-Child Bonding

Healthy individuation begins with healthy attachment. As a caregiver child playgroup, the supportive presence of a consistent caregiver provides a lasting foundation for independence.

Uninterrupted Time

During the 2 hour session, children have a full hour of choosing activities freely and independently. They can choose to work on their own or with their peers. Allows concentration to develop spontaneously.

Mixed Age Groups

Children aged 18 months to 3 years form a little social community, where younger children learn through observing older peers, and older children develop leadership and empathy. Sociability unfolds naturally.

Open Spaces

Clutter free spaces provide the children with freedom to move between the indoors and outdoors, allowing them to engage in a variety of activities, exercise autonomy, and gain independence.

Practical Life Exercises

From indoor activities such as pasting, pouring and punching to outdoor work such as flower arranging, scrubbing furniture and washing dishes, children engage in a variety of work to refine their movement.

The Benefits

Through the freedom to choose a wide range of activities, supported by a nurturing caregiver, the children experience a sense of accomplishment and joy, nurturing a spontaneous love for learning.

The Relevance

This approach forms the foundation of a broader philosophy that nurtures original thought and creativity that is grounded in real life. It nurtures an authentic self rooted in deep empathy; qualities that will truly set individuals apart.
